ACCESSING THE LIBRARY'S ARCHIVES

1. The Medical Center’s library archives are presently accessed only by appointment or on-site request.
2. Materials in the archives are accessible Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
3. Arrangements to use the archives may be made by telephone to the person in charge of the archives by dialing: 984-1270.
4. Materials in the library’s archives do not circulate.
5. Limited photocopying of archival materials is usually permissible.
6. Books shelved in the archives may, or may not, appear in the library’s electronic catalog.
7. Documents and other papers in the archives are presently not classified.
8. Unique collections in the archives such as Dr. James D. Hardy’s papers remain unclassified.
9. The archive houses a large collection of news clippings and UMC print materials produced and compiled by the Division of Public Affairs.
