Attention Deficit Disorder


This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. Although it was once believed that only children were diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), recent literature has focused on the disorder in adulthood. Characteristics of Attention Deficit Disorder include fidgeting, difficulty paying attention, frequently interrupting conversations, difficulty in organizing tasks and a reluctance to engage in activities which require sustained mental effort
