This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical LibraryAsthma is a chronic inflammatory disorder of the airways, affecting approximately 5% of the population. Approximately 470,000 hospital admissions, and 5000 deaths are attributed to asthma each year in the United States.
