Biotechnology
This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. Biotechnology is the scientific manipulation of living organisms or components of living organisms at the molecular level to improve human health, industrial efficiency and food production. Areas covered by the term biotechnology include recombinant DNA, genes, immunology, molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, plant tissue culture and fermentation.
