Diabetes Mellitus
This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. Diabetes mellitus is a disorder of the body, in which either the pancreas produces little or no insulin, or the body cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced. For the above reason, glucose builds up in the blood, overflows into the urine, and passes out of the body, causing a series of diabetes related symptoms and complications.
