Domestic
Violence
This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. According to the American Bar Association, domestic violence occurs when spouses, partners, or dates use physical violence, physical or emotional abuse, harassment, or stalking to control the behavior of their partner. Domestic violence occurs among all genders, races, ages and economic groups. According to the American College of Emergency Physicians, domestic violence is the largest cause of injury to women in the US between the ages of 15 and 44.
