
Drugs
Drugs are chemical compounds used in the prevention, diagnosis, alleviation, treatment or cure of diseases. They can be taken by mouth; injected into a muscle, the skin, a blood vessel, or a cavity of the body; or applied topically. Drugs are classified by therapeutic use.
