Gene Therapy
This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials on gene therapy at the Rowland Medical Library. Gene therapy is the procedure of delivering functioning genes into a host to correct an inborn error or to provide a new function in the target cells. It is a very broad definition that includes the potential treatment of genetic disorders, cancer, infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, and autoimmune disorders through genetic modification.
