Prostate Cancer

This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical LibraryProstate cancer is a malignant tumor within the prostate gland.  It is the most common form of cancer in American adult males and is the second leading cause of death from cancer in this population.  Though methods of early detection and treatment modalities have improved, there is no uniform agreement on the management of prostate cancer.  Keeping informed and up-to-date on this subject is important to make the best individualized management decisions.
