Transcultural Health Care

This guide is an introductory list to help locate research materials at the Rowland Medical Library. Transcultural health care has grown in response to the need for developing a global perspective in the delivery of health care.   Ethnic, religious, social, political, economic, educational, and technological factors have a role in forming the culture of an individual. Health care providers should be sensitive to the beliefs, values, and practices of members of various cultures or subcultures.
