Problems Logging In?

If you click on the Off-Campus Link on any Library webpage, you will be asked to enter your Library assigned login & password.   This link will take you to a secure page with a listing of vendor assigned logins & passwords which you must use in order to access their resources (e.g., Ovid, EbscoHost, etc.).

If you don't have a Library login, you can apply here (UMC faculty, staff & students only).  If you are not sure about your Library login or password, contact the Reference Desk at (601) 984-1231.

During the UMC web page login process:

• If you get a login prompt with two boxes:
  
  You need to enter the domain name on the same line as your user name. You do this by entering lib_dom\ before your username [lib_dom\jdoe]. Please note that it is a backslash you need to use between lib_dom and your username.

• If you get a login prompt with three boxes:

Type "lib_dom" without the quotation marks in the box that asks for the domain name. Please note that lib_dom utilizes an UNDERSCORE and not a dash.

When logging in to an Off-Campus Resource: (e-journal, text, etc.) you do not need the domain name.
