Orientation
and Instructional Services
Library Orientation
is required for all incoming students. Formal instructional activities with
varying formats are designed to meet the needs of the academic programs. New
faculty and staff receive orientation tailored to the expressed demands of
departmental request. Faculty seminars and individual class lectures are
provided on a range from brief overviews and tours to detailed lectures on
services and instruction on the use of bibliographic sources including new
technologies. These sessions are scheduled through the division of orientation
and instruction in the reference department.
Classes are
arranged by appointment and tailored to meet the user's needs. To register
for a class, contact the instructor of the class by using the e-mail link or
calling the extension number.
