USING THE CATALOG
The Rowland Medical Library
Catalog is online and available at stand-up work stations. This
catalog can be used to locate books and journals in the collection. Every
library user has access to the catalog; no password is required.
For basic information on using the system, consult the Online Catalog Search Hints at the station. For in-depth directions, use the Search Guide. For assistance, consult the Reference Librarian.
FINDING JOURNAL ARTICLES

The sit-down stations in reference are available for searching Rowland Medical Library resources, Please see a Reference Librarian if you need assistance.
LOCATION OF LIBRARY MATERIALS
The current journals, reference collection, leisure reading, consumer health and humanities collection are on the main floor of the library. Textbooks and bound journals are on the second floor.
The books are arranged by call number; journals are arranged in alphabetical order by title.
PHOTOCOPYING
Photocopiers are located along the brick wall of the library on the first floor. The second floor photocopiers are at the far end of the aisle in the photocopy room on the left. All the copiers take coins and photocopy cards. Copies are $0.10 per page. Photocopy cards can be purchased at the Circulation Desk or you can request change for up to $5.00.
STUDENT ASSISTANTS
Student assistants work at the Circulation Desk after business hours. Their duties include maintaining the photocopiers and checking materials in and out. Student assistants do not offer reference services.
